Postulancy is a nine month period where men are introduced to religious life, initiated into Franciscan spirituality, and concentrate on human development. During this time, postulants live at Saint Bonaventure Friary in Loretto, Pennsylvania and may take classes at Saint Francis University or online at Franciscan University in Steubenville, OH. Most postulants take two courses each semester, which might include philosophy, religious studies, or pastoral ministry, and they are engaged in a weekly volunteer ministry. Brother Matthew Aubin, T.O.R. is the director of Postulants.
